Summer Hydrant Flushing

Updated: Aug 15

During the month of September you will witness fire hydrant flushing. This process allows us to monitor the health of each hydrant, water main, and purge the water mains of naturally occurring sediments. If you notice discoloration or sediment in your water please flush your water lines until they run clear. The color/sediment is not harmful, just unsightly. Please call the District if you have questions or concerns.
